Zhe Gu Tea

The high-end packaging originated from an obstruct conception of Buddhism as the Chinese word “Kon”. Buddhist pursues ethereality and integrity. The packaging consisted of three parts. The connection between tea leaves and hands of Buddha express the pattern, which is look like a combination of leaves and a hand. After baked, the tea leaves of Zhe Gu tea turn into ball, which is like the shape of Buddha beads. By spelling out the landscape paintings with tea balls, it expresses the Buddhist mood –see the mountain as not mountain, see the water as not water .

Eclipse

The Eclipse ring box is designed to be striking, simple and memorable. Rotating the top and bottom opens the mechanical iris and simultaneously raises the inner platform presenting the contents. All components are made from quality materials, the casing is milled from solid aluminum with an anodized, bead-blasted finish to protect from scratching, while stainless steel aperture blades and ball bearings ensure a lifetime of smooth movement.

Eco

This design targets and aims to solve a simple but tricky problem in life, that is how to tell the freshness of an egg. Customers may open a bad egg without pre-notice which can lead to either food poisoning or contamination of other ingredients. This issue enlightens the design of egg freshness tag which is a paper based chemical indicator reacts with carbon dioxide by the change of color to inform the freshness level. Different colors represent different grades of freshness, green for fresh, yellow for stale and red for bad.

Pepsi x SHFW Spring Summer 2019

The creative manifesto for Shanghai Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 was about individuality and centered around the message that creativity is a powerful inner force that brings change. Integrating this year’s creative manifesto into the limited edition can design, the can features bright blocks of color colliding within the black backdrop to create a celebratory and unique expression of art within the context of packaging design. At the Shanghai Fashion Week venue, consumers engaged with immersive Pepsi experiences, including a Pepsi booth, lightbox, and more.

The teabag packages are designed with totem icons for countries where different types of tea are originated from, e.g., dragons and crane for China, while elephants for India. Special printing techniques are applied in the package production to match the high quality teabags. Based upon the understanding of the Chinese business people's pursuit for quality life in their trips, the selected teabag packages are designed with totem icons that belong to the country where the tea originates, e.g., dragons, phoenix and crane for China, while elephants from India.
