Kerloso Wine

Kerloso Wine is a packaging design for a red wine from Chile. The label shows the scene sailors saw when they first landed on Easter Island, including stone statues, a volcano, flowers, a deer and birds. The bottle is wrapped in natural imitation rice paper, bound with straw rope and decorated with a piece of natural bluestone, the same material as the Moai statues. The top of the paper is burned by real flame, so each mark is unique. Different colors mark different grape types. The wrapped bottle stands about 35 centimeters high.

Li Beer

Li is a gift packaging design for beer. The glass bottle takes its shape from the Shuang-Er-Ni-Yu pottery bottle unearthed at the Yangshao cultural site. Carvings on the surface resemble traditional water ripples and fish stripes. An embossing technique is applied to the package, so the texture can be felt by touch. Elegant images and archaic fonts add a sense of history. The package is opened by tearing off the top seal. The design celebrates the early history of beer brewing in China and the traditional Chinese recipe used for the beer inside.

The bottle is a clear glass cylinder with vertical grooves, and a red, white and blue helix rotates as the bottle is unscrewed. A printed sheet in a serif font presents product information in the style of an old newspaper. The bottle holds a refillable capsule, and the outer packaging is made of recyclable materials.
