Hanwu Liquan 1974

Hanwu Liquan 1974 is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor series. The bottle is made of transparent frosted glass with roasted gold detailing, while the cap and the tag are made of metal. The blue color of the bottle is inspired by jade from the Han Dynasty. Two dragons, based on Han Dynasty dragon patterns, form the main visual element. The shape and the structure follow a minimalist modern style. The packaging box measures 88 mm in length, 88 mm in width and 227.5 mm in height. The design presents traditional Chinese culture in a contemporary form.

Akimbo Coffee Beer

Akimbo Coffee Beer is a packaging design for two craft coffee beers created through a partnership between a coffee brand and a brewery. The beers are sold in aluminum cans, and the outer box measures 115 millimeters in length, 66 millimeters in width and 66 millimeters in height. A hand-painted illustration and a retro hand-drawn font give the cans a relaxed and refreshing character. The illustration shows the mascots of both brands surfing at the seaside. The design addresses young consumers and states clearly that the drink is alcoholic.

Yuyuan Road Baijiu

Yuyuan Road Baijiu is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor produced in Maotai town, Guizhou province. The design is inspired by Yuyuan Road, a historic street in Shanghai, and by the main building on that street. The logo shows an element of the Paramount, a landmark building and cultural symbol in Shanghai. The outer box is made of recycled plastic, the bottle is ceramic with gold spray paint, and the cover is plastic. The box measures 100 by 100 by 290 millimetres. The packaging aims to convey Shanghai culture to consumers.

Evervess Soda Water

Evervess Soda Water is a packaging design for a range of carbonated sodas and tonics. The brand carries nearly eighty years of heritage, and the visual identity was modernized for a unified launch in the Chinese market. The earlier design felt heavy and suggested indulgence, so the packaging was simplified to communicate light and fizzy refreshment. A minimal graphic element in black and teal depicts a fountain, a symbol of energy, refreshment and renewal. The drinks can be mixed in cocktails or enjoyed on their own.

Lidu Sorghum Baijiu

Lidu Sorghum Baijiu is a packaging design for a Chinese sorghum liquor. The bottle is made of crystal glass sprayed in green, and the bottle label and neck label use aged special paper. The cap combines metal and plastic, while the outer box is made of black special paper with gold and black patterns. The packaging measures 70 mm in length, 70 mm in width and 260 mm in height. The form is based on the original bottle prototype and follows a contemporary minimalist style. Simplified materials reduce waste and suit the taste of younger consumers.
